As the title says I'm already trying to work out what the next project will be even though the nova has a long way to go, Do we build a lotus elise/exige track monster but that would mean forking out around £5-6k just to start it or do we build a toyota mr2 Aw11 on a similar sort of route or should we go down the sideways route and build a unique drift car of some sort, so hard to decide, please help haha

Drift car ftw, if I hadn't spent so much in my nova I'd be selling up to get a drift car.
drifting/cars have got to be the most pointless motors in existence.
Build a race/rally car and compete properly.Sounds like you have the funds!

Drift Car is so tempting but have no idea what car I would start off, there seems to be nothing that appeals more than the rest

We have a wee bit of funds but thats purely from working hard, spent most of the day looking at lotus' but your looking at, at least £6k for an S1 Elise which is probably what we'll go for if we do a track monster unless we can find an S2 cheap which would be ideal but £6k is quite a lot of money to then take it apart and make it our own

Wherever its from is not the issue,i wouldn't pay for a drift car in washers Lol

Each to their own Andy, I find banger racing "pointless"
Back on topic, go with what you think will give you the most enjoyment mate.
I find banger racing pointless too mate.

What about a Westfield? Seriously considered that myself. You could pick up an unfinished project and with 16v power build a good track car with drifting possibilities too. Cheaper than Lotus and Caterham...
if i ever have enough money i want to build a c20let manta 400 rep, stripped out with cage and bucket seats.
What sort of driving you want too do? Track, a roads, hillclimb etc. Use in any weather, n/a or fi?

If I was building another car it would be a KP61 Starlet hands down.
There's a KP62 on the bay at the moment which is incredibly tempting.

If I ever decide to replace my gt4 that will be it's replacement. I was eying a 1jz engined one up went for too much though.
200sx, besides maybe geo and tyres could track or drift?

looks we're heading more in the way of the lotus, if only we could find one really cheap or something similar?
Copart? Accident damaged one maybe. If not too fussed about cat c or d then it could work out a cheaper build or a vx220?

Plus by the time you get the car it will have a lot more damage. They are not what I would call careful when it comes to moving them around on the forklift.

we have an account but barely use it as things such as lotus' and vx220s rarely appear, we're now looking at cars similar to both such as a honda beat and smart roadsters but they arent quite the same

Think we're going to try and build our own Masterton Motorsport Shortcar similar to this :)
