Engine bouncing!!

Hi guys,

I've had this problem for a while now, when I'm setting off particularly when warm the engine bounces as I'm lifting the clutch up an the warmer the engine gets the worse it gets any ideas?

I'm thinking clutch pressure plate is knackered but bite is good clutch doesn't slip..........

or flywheel needs a skim??

engine mounts ?

pressure plate if your mounts are.ok
handbrake on 4th gear and rock.backwards and forwards.
or get a friend to watch

Mounts are ok engine Hardley moves when under load so looking like pressure plate....

Had a similar thing years ago a bit of the clutch plate had gone like break pads sometimes do was exact the same ok cold but when plate got must bend a little still clutch out job though

Does it feel bad when it's not moving ie just revving when standing still?
would driveshafts cause a similar problem??

Yea sounds exactly how you've just described it mate although today it's been fine!! Seems to be worse when I've been stood in traffic an engines got really warm then also the following day after so no idea lol.

nar it's spot on mate when stood only does it when setting off in first gear and bringing clutch up from bite.

Yea I'm going to andy I've put up with it to be fair for 2yrs so a bit longer won't hurt lol.
