Where does this go?

Little grey plug in my hand, seems like it would be obvious but I can't see anything for it to connect to, I'm probably just being blind but and help appreciated

I've got a couple of them just dangling in my engine too. Everything works so I just assumed they must be for something on a higher spec level as the wirings all put in ready

I agree if it all works don't worry about it. I've stripped several wires out of a loom in for my rally car but only after identifying it in the wiring diagram in Haynes (I have yet to find out if I've made any mistakes!

It looks like ignition live for the coil to me does it fit bottom rh side of that plug with the red and brown wire pluged in

I'll have another look in a bit, I had no stray wires before hand so it's got to go somewhere

If you had things removed and it's not yet running then that's defo it's location FYI if you ran or plan to run a rev counter it goes in the bottom Lh of that plug a green wire then up to the dash not all models had this but easy enough to add
