Ok so I have been reading in the background still and life is proper hectic now, but the nova has finally gone back to the place of its reincarnation where I lost many hours of blood and sweat building it. For those that know the car (say 60% now??) I checked out the trackday sticker from its last outing and its dated .... 28th June 2010 :eek::eek::eek: .... So in the last 6 years or so it has covered maybe 200 miles tops during the 2 whole trackdays it did lmao.

So the aim of this latest move, well I am bored of it sat doing nothing so I need to try and put the old girl on the road for some summer loving. The car started at the press of a button and purred like a kitten so only minor works to the gearbox etc that I had always planned to do and it should be good to go. The parts are easy, the cost is tolerable, time is going to be the hardest thing to find.................Now to dig out my build thread

Yeh still training when I get chance, not as intense as before but enough to keep tidy. The car is as mint as when it was parked up which was nice as I literally haven't even looked at it for 3 years, was just sat under a sheet. IF I can get done what I want it might make an appearance this year ....

Work wise I have parted ways with my old boss, but he's been a mate since 2001 so I still keep in contact and help out with the sailing etc. Hence I still have the landy as I keep it on the road and use it regularly to maintain it ;).

Stu I sorted that after we killed the last one, drove real nice on Friday tbh (gave it a blast around my roads before loading it even though fuel probably resembles dirty water after sitting for 4 years lol). Just change tappets, speedo, send diff off and get that 5th gear changed and she is good to go. Benn maybe track but at least if on the road my spare rims and unused road tyres will get some use as they are still boxed hahaha, still not as keen on their styling but everyone else didn't mind them so meh

as regards beefcake..... nah just simple old me as always ;)
