interior bulbs

how do you pull the clocks out of a mk1 nova sr as the bulbs are dim and a few are blown and i want to replace them also what bulb type are they ? :) thanks

Flat screwdriver in the bottom of the clocks/dash, pop them upwards and it should release, then wiggle out carefully, remember to push the speedo cable in from the engine bay as you go, this will help release the clocks towards the steering wheel, pull back the speedo drive clip to release the cable, then you should be able to swivel the clocks to the side to release the multiplug and then withdraw the clocks sdieways from behind the steering wheel, bulbs are 12v 1.2w - lucas 286 T :thumb: although interested what people use as an upgrade as standard ones are still dull!

Don't want to spam this thread but what about the heater control bulbs mine have never worked but what type are they peeps? Also what these have said is there An upgrade bulb as Standard ones are s**t!
