my first nova!

hi all i'm quite new on here and have just bought my first vauxhall nova. It was on ebay and was bought by someone who brought it up to Scotland who then decided to sell and that's when i bought it. It's a diamond model and is quite tidy for it's age i think, a few bits need welding done but nothing bad. My plan is to keep it quite orignal as i can.

i'll add pictures as soon as i can.

Thanks i'm planning a few wee changes, i've just bought a nova sr bumper for it and plan get all the bumpers and grill resprayed so they all match. Also going to get the full car respray but i haven't decided on a colour. i'm going to lower it soon, 40mm i'm thinking. I'm not changing the engine or anything.

I colour coded my SR bumpers but left the bottom lips the standard blue grey..

I also fitted GTE skirts and left those blue grey..

The tailgate spoiler was also unpainted..

I had 15" Tigra alloys (as seen on the MTV special, etc) and it was also lowered..

Looked nice and was quite unique back in 1995...

If I can find a photo I'll post it..

Depends how close to the original spec' the owners wants to remain...

SR bumper repainted today! rear bumper and grill to be painted as well so they all match. Hopefully fit the sr bumper later on in the week :)

Took the rear bumper of today to repaint it and found some bad bits :(, hopefully will get them fixed at the weekend! I've put the rear bumper back o for now and haven'r repainted it yet.

A wee update the nova now has clear indicators and a SR grill to go with front bumper. The grill has been painted to match my bumpers.

cheers man. yes just a standard XE, it will be getting new belt, water pump etc.. and a bit of paint before going in.
