Hi guys, went over speed bump today and it was a bit loose, a part of it bent up and rammed into the under side of my car

The solid fuel line now has a crack or break in it now so I am leaking fuel  any quick fixes or do I need a replacement high pressure line?

 Hate poorly maintained roads

Cut the crack out and fit a fleecy pipe between each pipe and clip it up tight should be find or copper pipe from b&q screwfix etc and replace the line

Thanks for the reply mate, the effort of cutting repairing is prob the same running a new one! What diameter pipe should it be mate? Will fit a new line :)

It's prob easyer to repair as a quick fix but you need 8 mm pipe to fix it with new line

You dont necessarily need a pipe bender, the bends arent tight. I would advise flaring the ends so the rubber pipes can't blow off. The OEM metal pipes are flared as you'll see.

Which pipe is it f your carefull you will not need one only tight bends go up from floor through the hole at the front to the bay pre measure it oversize and bend it in staged bits by Hand never needed one myself

Best thing to bend 8mm pipes with is a slip over spring. I solely fitted gas fires at work for around 4 years which are fed by 8mm and never owned a bender. I wouldn't advise bending it by hand as if you make a mistake and kink it the full length is useless.
