im lost! what car

Im looking out for something but not sure what. I drive around 20k per year. About 13k for work. North scotland and manchester mainly.

I have a 2.7d jaguar xf with 70k, and can either pay that off with a loan (i owe 5k to vt it) or get something else. What i want to do is keep this car for 5 yrs so will have to be able to cope with the 100k mileage. Ideally over 35mpg

Hit me with ideas. Budget of 8k
