One of my greatest childhood heros. How many of you near pee'd your self seeing this guy laying seemingly unconscious but raise his clenched fist shaking only to come back, kick ass and win?

WWF was a massive thing when I was at school, I never was into it that much though.
British bulldog was a favourite if I had to pick one though but like many he died young.

I was a big fan up until '94. Was reading the paper today and there's been loads of deaths that I didn't know about, mostly heart attacks. I might find my old videos and watch them lol
Heart attacks probably brought on by colossal steroid use long term.

loved the ultimate warrior back in the day. he had the best entrance into the ring bar far.
full on sprint into the arena, followed by pin-balling around the ring off the ropes, whilst frantically shaking all the ropes, and pushing his arms up in the air like he was deadlifting a car. always got the crowd fired up :)
Yeah, a huge amount of relatively young deaths and most of which were linked to steroid abuse. Yet yer man Ric Flair is still going at 65 and Hulk Hogan at 60. Jebus but I miss WWF.

That plus Wrestlemaina and Raw the nights before, he did the classic run to the ring and shake the ropes just finished him off...

A great loss. I loved WCW and WWF in the 80s and 90s. If I'm honest it isn't the same anymore. I've got some great pictures of me with ulitmate warrior and British bulldog. Will treasure them more now. I miss watching some of the greats, bush whackers, LOD, hacksaw Jim dugon, hulk hogan, Bret the hitman hart, the matchoman, undertaker, sting, Shaun Michael's to name a few.

You do make me smile Southie. So far I can only find British bulldog, the picture is me in a headlock with him. I will do my best to scan it in and post...
