After Ideas on a nice Retro colour for my Opel Corsa A project, curently what i think is 'Nordic' Blue, kinda want to stay with a blue as CBA change the log book, used to be so simple with changes like this 5 or 6 years ago but seems alot harder of late so that brings the choices down quite drastically, if anyone can do photoshops of the ideas it would be even more apprciated

car is this one - remember it wont look like this though..

had thought of 'Cannica Blue' like my old Arosa

but discounted it after a photoshop, looked a bit too light for the Novas lines?

Any ideas welcome and appreciated :)

Not sure how a really retro colour would look like on a mk2 but guess colours down to personal preference. If it was me personally I'd go breeze blue :)

Breeze blue is retro.

Personally I would see what blues you can find from 70's vw colour options, they had a pretty bold colour selection bitd, metallics or solids.

Breeze blue is retro.

It's not what I'd class as a retro colour, it was an early 90's colour and that's certainly not a retro era.

I like some of the colours on the retro fiat 500 range, theres one call punk gray, and a milky brown color thats pretty cool, they would look good with contrasting lighter colour bumpers, would be unique!
Was sort of thing i was going to do to my saloon project if i had kept it.

I've always like the blue that was on the Lotus Sunbeams:

I was tempted by the very light blue that you see mk2 escorts in.

Changing a colour on the log book is easy. You just tell them its been painted and the colour and its done.

The Olympic is near Porsche Riviera blue isnt it? i painted a lads Corsa that colour and although an old colour it looked quite modern :/

Would love Jamaican Yellow but as above would like stay blues otherwise it would be going the Cream off the New Renault Twingos like i brought a few months back, (very much like New Mini Pepper white)

Indeed Benn thats how it used to be, ive changed a good few for customers when i ran my own bodyshop up untill 4 years back, however a friend changed his just before christmas and instead of the usual returned log book as i told him it would be, instead he got a letter back saying to call up and make an appointment as it needed an assesor to come out and look at it, i thoughtthe car may have 'history' with them but hes owned it 5 years.. odd but it has put me off for the moment

Very odd, my mate changed his from red to white about a month ago. Just by filling the log bookout and sticking a photo of the car in it...
