Mk1 door

Hi people
Any tips how to remove the two door pins of my mk1 nova SR drivers door
I've removed loads of mk2 nova doors and never had any problems
I've got a tool to fit to the pin to knock it out.
The mk2 pins have a raised lip but this one on my F reg mk1 is just a small
Roll pin with a plastic bung at each end!

I've a few ideas but thought I'd ask if anyone has any better?

Don't want to damage the door or the frame or the A post!
Any ideas will be great :thumb:

just support the end of the door with a jack, and then lift it slightly, cos the old roll pin will be worn a bit.
