What is this actually called? and is there anywhere that manufactures such a thing or will we have to develop one?

Ramsport used to sell them for a Corsa B, not sure about the Nova. They are no longer on their website, but definately worth a call.

Harry Hockley still sell them. There called "Corsa B Air Induction" When I bought mine is was about £250 all in as a 3 piece set. But they only fit a Corsa B off the shelf. If you want my honest opinion thought, unless your running throttle bodies in a sealed air box there completely useless.

They come as fibreglass, but I remade the slam panel in carbon Kevlar.

what spec engine are you running? cos lots of people fit air scoops that have little or no actual benefit.

when we get to this stage of the build the engine will be a honda k20 on ITB's, looks like we will have to develop our own version as the intake is on the front of the engine on the k20 but thanks so much for your help everyone, this has given us some great ideas

strangly I was thinking about a setup that seals throttle bodies and pokes out a hole in the bonnet in the form of a scoop. kind of like the oldskool muscle car shaker bonnets

this is definitely the most simple way and we will probably just end up doing so, we have done it previously on our other builds such as the corsa
