Apparently 8 cars have been dredged from the Rivers in Somerset, and one of them was this beauty.

One way of making a Sport look a different colour I suppose.

You might have to fight the bloke in the back of the picture, looks like he's already eyeing up the 6x9's

them cheeky little novas turn up every where ha ha!

tbh its hardly suprising its obviously been stolen then pushed in to the river. im sure there will be dozens abandoned in ditches and rivers all over the country

theres a burnt out nova and mk2 astra up at the quarry near us both been there for 7+ years. cant imagine them going anywhere soon either
lol.

A few years back that Nova would've killed it in the Rat scene.

Haaa....Oh dear lord. Single wiper conversion, looks lowered. Bet it was TWOC'd in the Nineties and abandoned! Wonder what other beauties they unearthed?

The question is...will it start? There was a mini years ago was blown into the sea, they got it dredged out, and put the key in...it went

I would put my money on it being stolen for parts. The bootlid being one of them.

As said on facebook, that mud has probably preserved the metal quite well

"Environment Agency staff working to help relieve flooding in the area noticed the cars, which could be up to 20 years old, in the drainage channel of the River Parrett."

Nova's rust just sat in the sunshine - after 20 years at the bottom of the river you'd only have the dash left!!

If it's fresh water with no salt it's no where near as bad though, there's been a few split screen campers pulled from lakes tab give seen posted on the net over the years. Cars will probably be checked and given back to insurance companies?? Sure I've seen a joke on the net that looked to be a mk1 escort pulled with this lot

lol that was bubbas 5 door, me and mr draper picked it up and towed it home. Theif was a class A idiot, who steals a car (matt black 5door nova with big exhaust) drive it to your home town and just drive it around like normal with the original plates on it lol

It ought to be salt water as the river is a tidal feed into the bristol channel.
