Seeing as you can use a heat gun on the bumpers to bring back colour would it work on some of the interior panels or mess them up? my sill covers have gone a bit white and was wondering if a bast from the heat gun will sort them. cheers

A heat gun isn't good for the plastic long term I just use panel wipe to remove the dirt then use smooth peanut butter and the oils penetrate the plastic and wipe off the excess

hmm ok, could i get away with the heat gun as a one off? then just use protection and cleaner ect to keep it or will it go back to how it was regardless?

Iv used a heat gun on my bumpers before then used autogym bumper revival gel after. This was a few years back. But my bumpers where pale this week so just put the gel back on and there fine. Not done the inner plastics tho.
You can use baby oil too, this kinda re oils the plastic to bring it back to life.
I'd be very careful using the heat gun on dash plastics.
