so, just before Christmas, this little baby was striped down, and sent of to have a few dents removed, lick of paint and few holes smoothed in

and now she is ready for returning...

so now the fun can begin, got stuck into a bit of vinyl and refitting windows etc

its time to start on the engine, I've removed a 1.6 16v engine from a 2000 corsa sport, has any one else carried out the same engine change???

bit worried about the altenator bracketing as did have pas etc . do Vauxhall make a x16xe without pas, so I can just buy a separate tensioner

They did an x14xe without PAS so i guess you could get one from one of them

its essentially an 8v nova block the corsa uses, so use all nova stuff.

As above or run a shorter belt I think with same tensioner

these pics r a real help,any one no a part number for the non pas bracket in the top pic!?

i was going to 'elongate" the top alternator bracket to I could get tent ion that way,

the bottom pic may need to b a goer if I don't have the space however don't have those old components as old 1.3 sr engine didn't have the sensor thing on the bottom!
