Rubbish brake pedal

After doing my 2.0 brake conversion on my 1.0 nova ready for the 1.6 I've noticed that the pedal is rubbish, the originals almost felt better. They're very spongey and don't seem as sharp as my corsa brakes in my 1.2 do. Is the servo not up to it? Or just knackered? I've bleed them multiple times with no joy

have you used a pressure bleeder?
have you serviced/readjusted the rear brakes?
they are definitely on the right way up?
what pads/material?

Pressure bled them, need to service the rears, defo right way up (made that mistake before lol). Ferodo pads with drilled discs

It's nothing to do with the servo & all Novas have the same 20mm (iirc) bore m/c. The size is stamped on the end anyway.

They will likely improve after a couple days of use.

Should be fine then after all that, i noticed my corsa sport setup was awesome straight away..

Re bleed them again, make sure theres 100% no air, even if you waste a lot of fluid.. Them one man bleed kits are awesome!

Gonna take it to work tomorrow and stick the pneumatic brake bleeder on it

Check your back brake adjustment I had the same problem on my rally car, BUT make sure your hand brake is off and that the adjustment is backed of on the hand brake cable this where my problem came from, the hand brake cable was already set before I adjusted the rear brake you must do the rear brakes 1st then set the hand brake.
This done my brake pedal was a lot better.

I took apart my rears and found a leaky cylinder on one side witch I'll replace in the week and adjusted them up will take her for a spin in a bit to see if there's an improvement
