Right as per title, my carbs started flooding over on idel, after you start it up and leave it for about 30 seconds the fuel comes up the square port on the right hand side of the jets and thus floods it...
Ive had it off the car cleaned it all off, had it appart, cleaned the float chamber and pin, and jets, put it back together, put it on and it still does it...
Wtf is it? I just need to fix it, as it's my only car..
Help needed to sort this, cheer.
Scott.

the float might have a split or hole in it, stopping it from rising and pushing the needle (can test it by holding it under water/under petrol, in a container, and checking for bubbles, and if theres any liquid entering it, and checking it floats on the surface)
or the seal/spring on the float needle might be knackered (would have to inspect it, and check for a water tight/petrol tight seal)
something else I was thinking about was a blocked return line, but I don't think it would cause it to overflow as much as you say (could test it by blowing down the line a few times, to see if you can push all the fuel out and then feel your breath flowing freely)
im not sure whats inbetween the needle and return line, there is some sort of divider there I think, that re-directs fuel in a different direction, to the return line. might wanna check that out too if poss
best to use new gaskets once you've found the culprit too, or you might run into vacuum air leaks, which can cause lean running / iffy fueling
hope some of that makes sense :thumb:
