Good evening peeps, ive been trying to figure out what these clocks are that ive come across, theyre mk1 and have a rev counter, first thought was that theyre SR ones, but the SR's all had six dial clocks with oil and battery gauges (as far as im aware anyways) and these are only four dial ones...

Other thoughts wouldve been Antibes, but they had yellow needles and not white, so what do we reckon they are boys and girls?

Aren't they from a sting?

Dave

Sting or TD clocks. Maybe not TD due to how high rev counter goes?!?

They are from the sting. Antibes should have orange needles but same gauges and TD rev only goes to 5K.

Incidently this is what the Mk2 SR clocks are modeled on.

My 92 SR also had them. Edit, mine were white though.

The typeface for the numbers on the MK2 clocks changed from the MK1 versions.

as said though there mk1's as they've only only 12 pins.

They are the wrong shape to fit a facelift nova, as I said from the start I'm sure they are from a sting.

Whats the difference with the plug from my 1.2 dials to the sr 6dial setup? Do you just add extra wires?

no difference, you just add a wire for rev counter & another one for oil pressure sender, they both connect to spade terminals on the back

Mk1 Lux had those clocks. SR's didn't have the 6 dials.(mk1 or 2)

Balley

They look like mk1 6 dials with a mk2 speedo and oil/battery lights.

Mk1, 6 dials were in SR GL (orange needles) up to 1986 then SR and GTE (white needles)
Mk1 4 dials ie without oil and volt gauge. Antibes (ornage needles) Sting (white needles) and TD but with a 5K rev counter.

Mk2 SRi only has four dials similar the sting clocks and only the GSi got the 6 dials.

Please correct me if I'm wrong lol!
