x16xe package

due to another failed track car project.... an x16xe engine and box from a 98 tigra is available.

comes with :

- alternator / starter
- engine loom, ecu, transponder (with wiring connector), and 1x key/chip
- exhaust manifold and downpipe
- front and rear gearbox mounts, and linkage
- radiator hoses
- fuel rail lines, if you want them
- radiator, if you want it
- coolant expansion tank, if you want it
- small box of bolts for engine and gearbox mountings

its a good runner from a 1998 tigra chequers edition. compression tests were good
I have a video of it cold starting after not being started for 3 months (fired straight away), will post up sometime
its never been raced - didn't get that far unfortunately.
the gearbox is an f17 CR with a 3.74 final drive.

the sai pump has been removed and the egr has been blanked (the old egr pump is included with engine if wanted)
the heater matrix was removed from the track car, so the engine-side hoses have been joined together with a piece of copper pipe.
I didn't get as far as doing the alternator mod, but will include an adjuster bar with the package, so you can finish it (needs a slot cutting in it for adjustment. not sure what size belt is needed. 880mm ?)
not sure when the cambelt was last done (the writings slightly faded, so probably wants doing to be safe)
I didn't get as far as changing the spark plugs
the 'ecotec' engine cover isn't pictured below, but it is included in sale.

Block and tackle it out off something or if the shell is scrap undo and remove suspension and let the engine drop on some old tyres (make sure you do the gear box rear mount first then keep jacking and blocking the car up till it's high enough to get engine out

if it's not scrap do the same way carefully sod waiting for mates
