cheers for the comments im debating on colour coding the bumpers or spraying them gloss black as rear is black and done poorly so was thinking doing them black and spoiler and grille then going for the satin black vinyl for the boot b pillar and sides

update:

i have now got the nova on the road its hard to get used to as a daily from a 03 plate astra to a 89 plate nova but it passed its mot with just one advisory which i fort was quite good considering its age but since its been on the road its developed a oil leak :( im going to have a better look soon ill upload pics of it after a good machine polish :)

Here is a update to the nova I recently bought a cav rarb and front upper mop strut brace and refurbed my other set of sr alloys and cambelt and done the head gasket as it was leaking oil out of it as supposed top end rebuild at 100k but head has been skimmed and not got the original gasket so must have been done here are some pics

update
iv got the head back off philip top fella definitely recommend to anyone top job aswell well its been ported, light skim, stem seals, valves recut inc 30deg cut back, seats cut and new guides and iv also put the kent ast1 fast road cam on and new head gasket and belts again as the belt was contaminated slightly from when i changed it last time heres some pics

Well done for putting a lot of hard work and effort into your car. Its a shame that you have painted the bumpers and lower half in black as it would look minted if they were in the right grey colour with the bumpstrips fitted.

I would of kept the front grey but the rear I didn't have a good back bumper one looked like it had been painted by a brush and other had been cut so I found a cheap gte bumper but it's all getting modernised slightly not ott but subtle and I still got the strips but I need a new drivers door because that's bent and wings are rotten

Our SR also required lots of welding of three years ago to get through MOT but since then has got through two more MOTs with only minimal work for MOT so I guess worth the effort to get in right but I paid for the welding to be done.

iv decided to put the bumpers rover hurricane grey :) and buy new decals in grey and there has been alot more work since the last update but need to upload pics :)

since having the webers fitted i hadnt had chance to get them set up and i went on a rolling road few years back it did 75bhp this tome it did 73bhp with twin 40s, fast road cam, vernier pulley set up, port and polished head, 4 branch and fully heat wrapped exhaust to back box but i know why my head gasket had failed and piston rings worn bad so engine got stripped then i sent it to dion bee brother and hes doing a full rebuild for me
