Up for sale is my Carlton Diamond estate.
I took this in PX on another car and have no need for it so it must go.
First things first - the guy who had it before me used this as his works van. The interior is half presentable but the roof lining is pretty ropey and the trim isn't 100% as you would expect. One of the rear wheel bearings is noisy and the tracking could do with doing. Ill try and get the tracking done but don't hold me to it.
It is a 2.0 8v manual with 122,000 on the clock.
Tax till the end of June and MOT till September.
Full heated leather trim that still works. However the drivers bolster is ripped and has some white paint stains on it. I have also had to remove the up and down function of the drivers seat as it was set to the top and wouldn't come back down.
Outside the car looks Ok for its age but does have dents and scratches especially around the tailgate area as I think it had roof racks on at some point so he must have slid things up and down it. The drivers rear lights is cracked and I cant seem to find one on ebay.
The window switches are broken on the drivers side, but I should have some coming shortly. I have just put in a new heater matrix as the old one was leaking and was bypassed, so it now has full working heaters.
By no means is this a show winner but ideal for lugging stuff around - probably bigger inside with the seats down as an Astra van. Or would be an ideal cheap drift toy to mess about with?
Price wise I would like £425 ono - feel free to come and have a look and a drive in it.
