What car does the F17 Gearbox come off?

Does anyone know what Vaux the F17 gearbox can be found on? and is it a Big or Small block box?

its fitted to some corsa GSi/SRi's seemingly randomly

i would point out however that the whole F rating = torque is shite

there is some GENERAL truth (ie F20 is stronger than the F10-15 and F28 is stronger than the F20) but u prolly find the F15 and F17 are almost identical boxes inside and out

Like the cavalier MK3's wich used the izuzu engines.

the F13, F15 and F17 are small block gearboxes and were used on corsas

the 17TD uses an F16 box and its a big block engine
