Steering Rack Pinion Bearing Loose Fit

Hi, trying to rebuild my steering rack with Corsa B EPAS internals. Got a new bearing for the pinion but it is not an interference fit as I thought it was and although it fits it is just loose enough to move on the shaft. I know the circlip will stop it from coming out but if the pinion shaft can spin in the bearing then the bearing won't be doing its job and shaft will be wearing inside the bearing... if you see what I mean. Any ideas to get the bearing on tight? Or other ideas?

Loctite bearing retainer?

a couple wraps of cellotape should do it.
