anyone know much about seats, dubs etc?!?!?!?!?!?!

righty, lefty ive got this piece of **** seat cordoba and I need a new front subframe for it, only problem being most people have never heard of a blasted seat cordoba!!

im struggling to find out much info on it, I know they are based on a vw polo but the subframes from them don't fit apparently..

I tried the seat forum but its full of bots and k.n.o.b.s from the looks of it, so anyone know what subframe is interchangeable with mine if any?



any help would be moderately appreciated.

I know they are based on a polo in some ways but id say that you might have better luck with mk3 golf subframes

Have you tryed a parts finder type search they email your requirements to many scrapyards worth a try also eBay see if someone breaking one just contact anyone with front parts you got nothing to lose there

Have you tried a polo saloon tdi subframe? Basically the same car.

Just done quick search on eBay refined search to used condition
car parts 1500 results and found one breaking straight away

Just had a look at these cars on ebay and looking at them id definitely say a mk3 golf is the same seeing as ive owned 3 of them

shweet found that one and sent him a message hopefully they don't want a bomb for it, the only thing I like about this motor is it can do over 400 miles (of not very sensible driving) on 35 quid of squirt

Yes but it MUST be a Polo saloon (or estate actually!) if you go down that route, the hatch is slightly different.

so its between the mk3 Ibiza, mk2 caddy and a polo estate or saloon between 1998 and 2001 apprantly


last question does it matter what engine the other car had? does it have to be the same? cheers
