does the entire intake pipe need to come off to get this out ? ... as I cant get a torx head in on the 2nd bolt as the pipes right in the way.

looked like it might be possible to push the pipe out of place and get in there with a large flathead screwdriver to crack it off possibly (providing its not F-tight). everythings in the way of everything on this dirty engine lol

cheers southie. I am in the process of blanking it. I think ive seen those guides before. they help you to a point, and then it turns into grunting and swearing until you finally suss it out lol

after disconnecting the engine mount and letting the engine slump forwards a bit, I just about managed to force a T45 torx on it. bloody pipework, wiring looms, brake lines, sound deadening, all in the way. crazy !

it would have been a lot easier if the engine was out the car, and I had a long length torx bit, instead of a short stubby half inch socket (all I had). done now tho :thumb:

ive pulled off so much crap, im not sure if this engines ever gonna run again lol
