I bought my 480 last summer as my daily driver, and its been a good car but its just failed an mot and I just don't have the time or inclination to fix it sadly. I'd rather not see it scrapped as other than some flaws its still a nice example and there's not too many around now.

Its done 110,500 miles, I've done 7,500 in the time I've owned it with no issues. The body is very good, with nice Aluminium Silver paint. It still drives fine and can be driven away (keep in mind its an MOT failure though so technically your not supposed to!). Its taxed until 31/7/2014 and I can leave this on the car for a buyer.

MOT failures:
Nearside rear anti-roll bar linkage excessive play
Rear join exhaust leak - the midsection and rear box are new of last year, so presumably I just haven't tightened them up enough or the selant stuff I used in the joins isn't upto the job.
Offside rear parking brake little effect - I think the cable on this side has stretched so is out of balance with the other side. I happily park it on a steep hill outside my house so it can't be too bad.
Front brake application uneven, I''ve not noticed any pulling to one side when driving, so this might not be too bad or hard to fix, although I haven't looked at it.

Other than that, one of the rear lights has a typical crack in it, and there is some water leaking in. The interior is very nice, with leather seats, the drivers seat has some wear but no holes. The passenger side door tray plastic has broken.

I don't any good photos, and didn't have much chance to take any today with all the rain. But its a nice solid example and it would be a real shame to scrap it, but I will have to do so soon if there are no takers. There's some receipts with it and a stamped up service book, the timing belt was done in 2011, its been a well looked after car.

I'd like £200 for it, given that it has near enough 5 months tax remaining on it and can be driven away. It shouldn't be too much work for someone to get it through an MOT, or perhaps use as a parts donor.

The car is located in South Wales, between Neath and Swansea area.

Cheers, it is a nice car. Has been good to own another of the Nova rivals from the era. The pop up headlights alone make it worth owning!

Hopefully someone will buy it, would be a pity to scrap it.
