13sb core plug sizes

hi could anyone tell me what size are the core plugs on the 13sb engine mainly the two under the spark plugs (one is behind the front engine mount). my car blew one out last nite and im hoping it will be fine as when I seen steam I shut her down but don't know the sizes and not sure where to buy them from.

Picking from the two having used them myself for the very same thing before.

Also when you fit them, Andy did this to also help you. I've made bold the refitting part.


i did this....
Knocked a + shape in centre,got a crap +screwdriver to indent the centre,then blasted it with a centre punch,removed then to fit....
Clean up with emery paper,then blue seal the new core plug then press by hand into the hole.Tap in a + shape(ie top,bottom,left,right around it,NOT in the face of it!) with a mallet then fit a 24/28mm impact socket over it (ie to mate with the diameter face) and hit it home with a hammer til its flush with the face of the block.Done.
