if you can find a dizzy setup for a 1.4sr, which is rarer than hens teeth, its a doddle....

then you reuse the starter/alternator/sender wiring off the 1.2 spi.

if you can't find a 1.4sr dizzy, then you'll need to use something like megajolt to sort out the sparks, or use a dizzy setup off an early nova, and also fit the early (slot drive) camshaft

Ive a 1.3 mk1 astra 1.3s engine there aswell is the dizzy set up the same as nova sr or ive a nova 1.0 carb engine there..?

the 1.0 uses a completely different setup, and isn't any use on any other nova engine unfortunately.

as your upgrading to bike carbs, its probably best to upgrade the cam, to something with a better spec, that has slot drive. then you can use the 13s astra ignition system with it.

the early 1.2 & 1.3 ohc gm engines use a slotted dizzy drive.
the later engines(including the 1.3) used a peg drive.
