Car just failed MOT for unsercure headlights. The clip at the bottom of the headlights arn't working. I think theres meant to be a clip which goes into them on the headlight and its missing???

anyone with the EPC willing to show the headlight fixings for me
Thanks

They are small white clips that fit to your headlight panel and then secure ya headlight. Go into Vauxhall and ask for 'em. About a quid each.

Go to a less fussy MOT station :!:

They are a fcuking bodge those plastic clips - i cant believe any competent manufacturer would seriously consider using them to secure a headlight in place. No wonder half the novas driving around have their lights waggling about or pointing at the top of trees

they brake by default when u remove the head light, its stupid, just use a cable tie and go to another MOT station.

Same happened on my MOT- so redrilled the headlight srew holes in the slam panel so the indicator lense was tight against the wing, it stopped it wobbling! Not to technical but my white clip was in perfect condition, just not doing its job!

If you re-drilled the holes in the slam panel, would that not give the lights an incorrect pattern and therefore cause it to fail again?

No it was the near side ones and moved them outwards slightly, and the guy at the test station re-aligned them for me for free. They were out of line anyway so had to be done.
