running a standard nova 1992 k reg mk2 nova 1.2 expression and wondered if there was an upgrade that was effective for the servo and master cylinder and not too much work? for example would a cavalier master and servo fit or is there a commonly used alternative to standard that is worth using?

how much difference is there between a standard servo and cylinder and nova gsi srevo and cylinder?

cheers corey

You can use a non abs mk2/very early mk3 Cav one, but the brake lines are in different places. So they'll have to be remade.

If not a GSi/Gte (Nova) uses a bigger one, that's a easy upgrade and will make them feel a bit better.

re the gte/gsi vs. std nova master cylinder....... the master cylinders are the same, but the gte servo is larger..

get your rear brakes cleaned up & serviced & swap the fluid, in my experience, its the best way to get more braking effort in a nova

If you can fabricate the bracketry, you can install anything. Its just a matter of mounting something in the original position & ofcourse operating it from the pedal bar (safely).
