am i right in thinking that vaux did a 2.2 16v for the frontera?
if so would it be any better to use that engine rather than the 2.0? or is the 2.0 a better engine? power output wise?
just doin some forward thinking atm

I know a bloke with 5 Brand new 2.2's still on the pallets, he bought them at an auction.

the ecoteks are slightly down on power anyway so u'll prolly find the 2.2 would put out around the same power as a C20XE anyway

if someone was planning on a fully works job with TB's n management, worked head, cams etc etc then the 2.2 could well be the better choice simply because the ecotec limitations will have been removed and yove then got another 200cc to play with :)

depends on what you want it for, for low down torque its probably okay, but i doubt it will be very willing to rev hard

the 2.2's actually have a slightly ower bhp output than the 2.0 red tops. designed really for bigger heavier cars!!
