I was just wondering how easy it would be to fit an electric power steering column to a mk2 nova
I fitted the EPAS unit from a Corsa into my Nova with relative ease. The front hangers line up, just need lowering 25/30mm but the bottom bracket needs modifying to fit. The wiring is straight forward but you will need either the correct gearbox transducer or do what I did and get the variable switch where you manually adjust the sensitivity. Just as well use the Corsa quick rack whilst your at it :thumb:

Ok cheers mite give it a go, what the worse that could happen
to dig this up a little and to hi-jack it lol
Lets say you have no dash in the car to worry about.
What parts are needed to fit a corsa EPAS setup? (I know there is the column and the extra controler but are there any things that need fabricating etc? )

With no dash going back in?
I would use Corsa c Column as easyer to sauce cheaper and newer and from what I have seen small fab work needed for all eps setups plus wireing needed also
is the £40 ebay box of tricks the same for a C column?
No dash to go back in etc :)
Might as well fab your own top/bottom mounts if no dash to straighten it up using the double UJ from the Corsa. I did and chopped the dash out to suit

Would you have to modify a mk1 dash to fit over the top? If so how much modification would be required?
Thanks for the pictures John
