Nova 1.5TD engine mounts??......

How different are the engine mounts on the nova 1.5td to the 1.2 carb models?

The drivers side mount looks to be slightly further back??

Any help would be appreciated

The mount actually sits inside the chassis leg so some fabrication will be needed

After speaking to people on here about modding a petrol model to run an Isuzu diesel engine, every time there is always a reference to the O/S engine mount. After a chat with Burgo and his diesel/Isuzu mad brother it was decided to modify an Astra mk3 TD mount (the part of the chassis rail) and incorporate it into the Nova chassis rail. The advantage of this is clear, the Nova mount is a 2-bolt design which even on standard power has been known to sheer whereas the Astra setup is 3-bolt and a larger engine mount rubber.
