hi PNG, always on here in the back ground but never really post much as I didn't have a nova until today. just bought a black SRI with no modifications 61k miles and owned by a local elderly guy for as long as I can remember (over 10 years ).
I would say its condition wise its about 90% very very good condition but it does have 2 bits I want to get sorted, one is where he was reversing into the garage and caught the passenger side arch, he had it repaired but it has a bit of filler and not the best paint job. I was wondering where I could get a replacement arch from and if they are even still supplied? pics will be up in a few days, it's surprisingly clean for a 22 year old car.
The nova bug bites again, welcome back, get some pics up :thumb:

unfortunately there is no history at all, i have the v5 and an mot certificate, but the guy has owned it from new and was very honest in saying he threw the service history folder away when his wife passed away. its a shame but i would rather have a car in great condition with no service history than a rough one with a folder full of receipts.
i actually followed this guy 8 years ago and spoke to him about buying it back then, he always said not a chance until he gives up driving which he has now given up. it needs a good set of tyres putting on and a few minor bits of bodywork sorting to make it perfect but it has been garaged for 22 years and he always made the effort to polish it. it really shows when you look at the overall condition. very happy with it.
Nice find and nice story!
Such a shame there's no s/h. There are so many where the history has been 'lost' to hide a shady past - yours cant be tarred with the same brush!

here's a couple of pics I took tonight in the only car park I could find with some lights on. Very tidy Nova you have there, well done. Love that the previous owner has painted the rub strips on, had to look at the rear quarter reflection of the white line to notice it. Might do mine the same if I can't find a decent set of rub strips.
no sunroof??? got a black sri parked up , very hard to come by
I am sure astra of the same period used the same rub strips, they would just need to be cut to size?
