Hey guys, after a welding mishap I melted my rear harness (1.2i Mk2). So much so I couldn't make sense of the wiring so I had to replace it with another, I sourced a GSi rear harness so here are some questions:
1: The fuel pump wiring - I am running an external pump in the factory GTE/GSi position so this rear harness is perfect... but what is the factory location for the hole?
2: On the rear harness near the N/S tail lamp there is a relay plug, yellow 2-pin, single plug (red wire), single plug (black wire)

What do these all do?
2A: I assumed the rear harness I sourced would include the wiring for the boot hatch itself (wiper, heated screen, switch for boot lamp) however I don't have any of it. The original harness is so melted I can't use it as a reference either :(
Do any of the plugs in question 2 relate to the boot hatch's harness?
Cheers
Pretty much a useless reply but I think the pump wires go under the rear seat and through the floor with the level sensor for the fuel tank,
Regards the other wires, hope your eyesight is good lol

Nope it goes out from the drivers side rear quarter behind the pump and turns in a nice curve towards the pump
So I would fit the pump and drill the hole somewhere behind it or bring it out of the area were the floor is flat in between outer and inner quarter (were sun roof pipe would be drilled )
the hatch loom had to go with the shell as it's hard work to fit/remove and was part of the deal for the shell and don't think I got a spare one of them sorry

I shall STFU lol
lol ye stick to ure new carb love you lol
The wires come out the same end as the drivers light plug so easyer to carry on there
Wtf had to google STFU btw lol brb
I'd be intrested to find out what to extra plugs are for in the NSF quarter too as I have them.

Think the black single wire goes to the heated screen and other plugs are wiper motor and central locking I think not got anything to refer to here
did just look back at ure add Jonny but I read it you needed from the boot loom my mistake should have checked that but did not have it regardless
I've asked someone who's breaking a shell for that part of the loom will let you know if he gets back to me

The SPi in-tank pump models use this setup bud but the MPi models use an external caged pump that runs along side the spare wheel well.

There is already a hole there Chris, but I assumed (as there is also one on the N/S) that this was for drainage and also the harness isn't long enough.

I did think that wire was for the heated screen but being a solid black colour I wanted to double check. The 2-pin yellow plug and relay holder would make sense to be for the rear wipers - my shell didn't have a rear wiper (it was an uber povery spec) so the plug and relay holder had never been used.
Central locking doesn't come this far back, it's all controlled up front.
I've asked someone who's breaking a shell for that part of the loom will let you know if he gets back to me
Cheers bud, would help me out a lot.
