It'll have been hydraulic'ed from the floods and rather than claim under self inflicted damage it'll now get claimed for as theft lol
prob taken to a local chop shop , stripped to the dick and left the shell back to the scene to say haha, imagine the price of the parts be worth,

Thats what you get for leaving it
I don't believe that, being at how stripped it is (no loom or anything)
I'd say it was a stolen car, stripped and just the shell bumped there to make it look that way....

Hang on...
A Lyne resident took the photos of the Audi’s demise, saying: “I first noticed the Audi abandoned in the flooded road on January 2 at about 8am.
“I tweeted a picture mainly to alert people of the road closure. of the high value car left unattended.
“Since then I have driven there several times in the hope that the road would open again of stealing parts and watched the Audi gradually deteriorate.
“The windows were smashed, I dropped the glass, and put a bollard was placed on its roof and it was generally vandalised it.
“Today I found the road open and stopped to inspect the Audi see what else was left that I could nick. I was shocked at how much had been other pikey b'stards had stripped from the vehicle.”
I think we found the primary suspect lol
Perhaps this is what SHOULD happen to the kind of idiot who would drive into a flood in the first place lol

No.
Infact utter sh*te. If you can see/judge how deep it is always go for it.
Keep a good speed (not to fast not to slow) don't slow down, keep a bow wave to keep the water away from the engine.
I'm frigging sick of people to scared to go out in a tiny bit of rain, or wind, or snow.
Just use what brain cells you have and assess the situation as you come to it.
*rant over.

Very hard to believe it was stripped to that extent without a 2 post lift, Especially in water, presumably under the cover of darkness, with houses just the other side of the bridge.
Disc cutter, recip saw, impact guns and lighting required. No marks on the ground which show how it got where it is, and certainly wouldnt be in that position after an engine removal.

I think the prime suspect would be an RS5 owner with an accident damaged OS rear quarter.
I did think the o/s rear quarter going was odd lol lol lol

Bet they got through a few of those. Shoddy to leave them behind though.
