Are you Planning on running more power in future? Jist may be worth spending a little bit more and runnibg a half decent powered xe. If on carbs run semi decent cams. Id never run those 1612s as they lose midrange power and torque a fair amount compared too standards.

plans are a full rebuild, ported polished head matched inlets to carb inlet manifold,4-2-1 stainless manifold, stainless exhaust, dont really plan on doing too much more than that was thinking of going 87mm on pistons but as i said theres so many i wasnt sure and thaught some one here may have some info on what would be best, didnt know that about them cams i must say

By the sounds of it, standard spec stuff will be fine. The only way to really chase power figures is with lairy cams, carbs don't really offer the full potential that iTB's do when it comes to bhp.
Personally I'd sooner have a chipped & TipTop condition C20XE running on SFi/Motronic over twin 45's.
