C and x16xe have pot fly wheels. A c16se/e16se/c14se and also the later 1.2 8v corsas all have flat flywheels that will fit on a 16xe. Just use the clutch and coverplate from whatever car you get the flywheel from
Been told that the guy got it from a c16xe and it is a flat flywheel, he has the clutch cover and plate to go with it . Its apparently been on an f13 so is ideal for me. Just checking with you guys i never knew the c16xe had a flat flywheel hence

it didn't as far as im aware (my old one certainly didn't) but if it was a really early one maybe Vauxhall fitted a nova gsi one to use up stock or something.
C16XE's come fitted with a pot flywheel. If its got a flat flywheel its off a gsi/gte nova 8 valve engine.
no problem guys its what I thought hence the topic. he has also cleared it up it is a nova gte one he put on a c16xe.. that clears everything up- and its the one I need! sorted.
