I'd like to say on behalf of err... well myself really a big thank- you to all the Novaload membership who came from near and far (and I mean far Ade and Brian to name a couple!!) to fill the Novaload stand chocka with quality Novas. Yet again we've done ourselves proud and been every bit as good as the great big posh clubs. It was very nice to meet old and new faces

I think I speak for all when I say it was a first class event for us ( apart from the bloody queueing to get in  ) - the weather was great and the place was stacked with quality machinery with something for everyone.

Just one final thank you to Ian who once again did a first class job in organising the stand and tickets for us. Cheers matey :D

Lol at the EDS Nova. I must I cheered when they announced that it was winning over the PA. Out of all the hundreds of modded cars there, what did the best time... a poxy Nova!

I hope it gets posted all over every car forum to shut all the anti- nova snobby areseholes up. Eat shit and die motherfuckers

Was very good to finally meet you CP and get to talk about Cars in person.

As said in another topic was a great day.

The twin LET EDS nova now holds the Silverstone record with his impressive 2.83 wich is ermmm..... Rapid to say the least, glad i had front row position even if that meant that all behind me couldnt see.

seeing all the mad skylines, TVR's kit cars etc only manageing 3.5-4.8s 0-60 times and then mr eds nailing them with a 3.12 then a 2.83, genious lol

a few sexy classic muscle cars too :)

shame your track time got black flagged cp, but hey you win some you lose some.

just to say well done to ian for all the organising, had a great day.
the novaload stand was one of the busiest there, even though it was close to other attractions like cosworths and pvd.had a bit of a SMOKEY entrance but no harm done.
best bit of the day was flooring my car through the tunnel on the way out, makes your car sound so much better.

Big ta to Ian for organising it all and for saving me a few Novaload stickers ;)

Nice to meet some new faces (CP, Cambridge, Corsanova, Locky, Ben) and of course the old faces (Tilly..lol)

Top day out, feeling pretty tired indeed, Will and myself sat on the M1 for about 45 mins not doing much only to cut infront of Luggy and co just before J14 :)

Looking forward to next year when I can represent Novaload properly in my own Nova, just make sure theres room for me :)

Yep was another shit hot day!!

thanx 2 ian 4 organising it,

Twag for the lift,

I managed 400 photos on my digi cam and had to download on 2 my laptop 4 times!! LOL !! :o

Any one see the fish tank thing in the back of the orion?, the flaming corsa on the total vaux stand?, the weed smoking teddy? And the plate on the back of a TVR ( UR 02 SLO ) Also the plate on an escort ( B16 NOB ) compensating for any thing perhaps ???????

Funniest part of the day for me was on leaving.... Needed a pi55 so went to the toilet block in the centre, no urinals only cubicals, first one over flowing with water and shit, second the same ( at this point it was starting to make me feel sick! How the hell can n e 1 do that???) third one.... some one had put a MAX POWER mag in the toilet, had a dump, then flushed it till it was overflowing!!!

Cp your car looked sweet as m8!

Every one elses car looked good too but cp's just stood above the rest to me. As for the EDS nova.... :o :o :o WOW!!!!!!!!
Would love to have a drive of it

We had some dodgy as fcuk road rage with some nob in a standard 106, looked like he was bout 19 - 20 and was drivin like a complete nob in rush hour traffic swerving across 3 lanes of the motorway and nearly run us off the road :o :o

One shit hot day i'll never forget!!

I was well impressed with that Red/White motorsport Nova running the 1.4 16v on TB's!!! It was very impressive on the track!! And ran a very respectable 6.02 0-60 when I saw him!
I thought that Bretts "Fearless Motorsport" 25K mint coloured Nova was a bit dissapointing!!!!! There was lots off Novas quicker than it! In a straight line and round corners! Did he have a problem or something?

Great day out!

Quality tracktime, even though i got a corsa, the nova's where kickin ass round the track, 2ltrs just blitzed me on the straights although it was fun being all over them in corners. only dissapoint of the day was when the audi cut the tracktime short and getting stuck in the ques

Yeah and not that long ago neither (Probably about 6 years or so), Trax was a F*rd only event and the National day for the RS owners club.
Given that fact I think the rest of the car modifing world has hijacked it quite well!!

Re: my dumbass knuckleheaded stoopidity in losing my wheel nut locking key (again  ) i had to make a run for home on slicks at the front which were very slightly *cough* illegal

Me and Camb noticed it running a bit ropey as we neared home and when i sorted the car out this morning the rubber had split completely away from the carcass on the inside left tyre( the one that takes all the stick on track). it was about a gnats cock away from a major blow out :o

So thats 2 flat spotted and 1 wrecked. Eeek that'll 4 new cut slicks then :!:
Now where's that being paid for not farming form - i need some more money

If anyones thinking of fitting a quaife gear lever and fabricating their own linkage - forget it

Out of the whole task of building this nova from scratch - the problem with the gear linkage has caused me the most headaches and problems and taken up months of tinkering !!!

I'm sure when I finally get it right it will be perfect - its just taking time !!!

Although I can now see light at the end of the tunnel and think I'm neally there - just a few final tweeks required !!!

TOP DAY as far as I was concerned!

Excellent stand - WE NEED A BANNER and some proper ads like the Astra sport stand had.

Some lovely novas there - nice to met up with new people - weird trying to put tags to names to faces - which I'm crap at!

Good opportunity to drown everyones cars in modelnovas.com's web cards 8) - sites live by the way

Cant wait till next year - looking at having a bunch of remote controlled ones then as well as completed cars, kits etc etc etc

Thanks to Mike for catch tank, and the soon to be received carb manifold.
