They will run on the engine, depending on what you use it for they may be a tad small for high revving though, I'm assuming they are 36mm bore?

seeing as the cam is std, it wont be revving too high, the upped compression willl help, but think carefully before doing that, pump fuels are pretty poor nowadays, you'd need some funky ignition to get it running sweet right through the rev range.

Zx6 be fine. Alot of lads ran them on zetecs, mk2 golfs etc local too me and scream. So id be suprised if not bug enough for you. 20xes on 45webers tend too run 36mm chokes at 230/240bhp and 7.5/8k rpm

I am running some 36mm bike carbs off a Kawasaki on a 1.4 8v rally car, but not to sure which model they are off and they work well. I did put some 40mm's on and it ran very bad and some time have no power at all.
I've got 1.5mm main jets in the 36mm carbs on a Bogg Brother's inlet.

if you are doing this, please think about a better camshaft.... look at autosprint reground ones if you don't want to shell out on a new one

was thinking of saving the cam as a future mod and going for a high lift version

looks like these carbs have been sold from beneath me, will have to see what happens

fit bike bodies!

im sure that would cost a bomb in management etc.. and what real gain would it achieve in a fast road/weekend car

all depends on what you want i guess, seriously tempted to not even bother with my ancient DHLA's and fit some K1 GXSR bodies
