Looking at going from a c14se injection onto twin 40s anyone know how hard wiring is to sort out or what you have to change for the wiring?

if your ditching the ecu and loom, its dead easy mate.

once you've got rid of everything, all you need is a single wire (+12v switched live) from the ignition switch into the engine bay to feed the coil.

if you run a 1.4sr ignition system, youll need to earth the coil to the body to complete the circuit, otherwise a 1.2 or 1.3 setup earths thru its own mounting bolts.

you might even have that +12v switched live already there by where the coil would be (its a black wire)

fueling might be a little more tricky.
with carbs you've got the choice of running a mechanical pump, or a low pressure electric pump with a pressure regulator in.

im not sure how compatible your injection petrol tank would be with a mechanical pump ?

if your lucky, your current in-tank fuel pump, paired with a pressure regulator will work. im not sure about the wiring for those, whether there constant or pulsed ?

You will need to cha he the ignition system (dizzy, module and maybe coil) for a 1.3/1.4 carb version.


can I have the inlet manifold and stuff from the Injection system lol
