I was driving to work and the engine just cut out, was running fine one second and then died and now won't start. Spins over fine, yet to check for fuel and spark as I'm sitting at the side of the road. I'm thinking fuel pump or rotor arm anything else?

Could be lots of things from a broken wire to the timing belt snapping. depends what engine it is as well. checking for fuel and spark is a good start.

T belt is good, seems to be getting fuel too and it's 1.2 carb

Change the distributor or change the module inside if there still available

No positive or earth on the ignition module and the vaccum adnace is knackered too
check earth straps on battery and gearbox, if there original they could be old and corroded, had one snap on me before.
Actually read that wrong, it wouldn't turn over if it was the earth straps. King lead hasnt popped off the dizzy, or the coil hasnt come uplugged? guessing its a spark issue if its carbed.

Yeah narrowed it down to ignition module or centrifugal advance so gonna try module tomorrow and go from there

I wouldn't worry about the vac advance. can get by without it
so your getting power down the lead to the dizzy module, but no further ?
