Thinking of buying a set of fk coilovers, what's people's thoughts on them that have had them

There ok for budgets build quality aint the best though. They bottom out alot aswell.

I run them on vectra felt no difference from the sri suspension as standard ride wise and its loweres 60 front 40rear,been through a hell of alot pulling boats and trailers no bother in 2years

Agree. I had h&r suspension on my s4 unroll a shock leaked then cheaped out for a set of fk's. All they seem to do is help hold the wheel to the chassis. They have no shock absorbing capabilities at all.

They were cheep and probably just as good as any other cheep shocks. I wouldn't advise buying cheep shocks.

I found them to be bouncy but very hard. You could skip but have lots of body roll while hard corning.

Found them to rust up fast. Mine started to leak quite badly with in 6 months.

The ones you posted are cheaper to buy new!! The seller is on smack or something.

"Shameless plug" I have 2 sets of brand new coilovers, one decent and one budget, inbox me if interested.

the fk shocks are suplied now by koni so im led to beleive,im replacing the coilovers on my a4 cab as they have just started to leak after 4 years and im fitting fk street to it
as long as they last 2-3 year im happy

My Fks were already on my car when I bought it,, they did a year inculding a fair amount of track use on a 1.4, they wwere then moved onto my xe over a year ago which has seen some track use. They have been fine so far, if you have them very low then yes they will be harsh.

the helper springs also need removing otherwise they scrub 15s
