Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 here. I highly recommend it. Tethers with my Galaxy S3 & cheaper than an i-emptyyourpocket.

In the fairness of balance, I have an ipad 2 and it does everything expected of it. The only thing I can't do on it (or any tablet for that matter) is DVD ripping lol

I think there a pain in the ass, everythings too small and fiddly like a mobile phone.

total waste of £300 in my opinion. spend it on a holiday somewhere hot & tropical and have a laugh instead :thumb:

Hi pie it depends on what you what to use the tablet for.
I just got a new Asus Google Nexus 7 and like it but I wanted a small 7inch screen so I could fit it into my coat pocket and carry it around at work with ease.

In my opinion what is it your wanting a tablet for?

For the money for a quick internet fix the Kindle HD's are cheap are worthy.

If an apple fan and you've other apple devices in your house that will match up and link iTunes then an ipad is worthy.

If your wanting an equal to the apple then the samsung is pretty much the same screen wise but without the the iTunes login gubbins.

if you want something for only a year and will throw away then buy a tesco special as these will be non useable by then...

... I hope I've helped lol

Where can you go and for how long on £300?

can get a return flight to Tenerife for £100 (was 19 degrees Celsius there today !)
could take your camping gear to save on hotel costs. whatever cash is spare... wax it on barbecues and alcohol.

or you could buy a rusty nova
