wiring a let loom into a 1 litre model question

Hello I will be shortly having to wire my let loom into my 1.0 Nova, question I have is I remember reading somewhere that the early 1l nova,s ignition run of 6v if this of so what's the cure to get the 12v that I need? Just cut the ignition live back and run a new better wire to it?

Just dont use the wire that used to feed the 1.0L ignition coil. Replace with a normal wire to get 12v.
