I think plain white with black bumpers would suit

Keep it as it is dude, don't see the point wasting money on the decals, it will be better as original looks exterior wise.

Keep it retro. Lovely looking car. Maybe lowered on banded steels

Keep it as it is IMO, it will be a tidy retro sleeper.

IMO if it was me and I had the money I would sport rep but I do think a retro look would suit it more

Thinking I will. Keep the retro look on a set of speedlines

God no! Sorry mate, but speedlines are not in the same retro theme imo, there more a 90's wheel and suits mk2 's better.

You need a retro 80's set of rims..

If thats the case i wouldn't go with speedlines, as they have a inward curved spoke, and it creates clearance issues on big brakes, better off seeing if you can get 16-17" mim raffinos, although there rare these days, other than that go smaller on the brakes, or fit none retro wheels, 90's wheels like tsw hockenheims would be cool, but again hard to find, so then you have to start looking at bmw and vw wheels..

Definately keep the car as it is, if it will handle without going to low, it would also help keep the "oh it's a 1.0 Nova" look.
As for wheels, personally if you are going for 2.0 brakes, 15" astra steelies will cover these, are wider than 13" Nova wheels but give a similar look. Astra GTE14" alloys will also clear, I don't know if Nova 3 spoke alloys will or not, never tried. Again all these wheels will give an early 80's look.
