After much thinking,more thinking,and possibly just some more thinking,i decided to apply for an apprentice Electrician vacancy,so at the age of 28,having been a detailer for many moons,along with a photographer,developing remaps for ford ST and RS's,i have been offered the job which begins in 3weeks............£4.11 an hour for the first year lol lol lol

At least you'll be able to do some detailing on the side to make up for the crap wages lol the joys of an apprenticeship though will be worth it when your times out :thumb:

Just do 100 hours a week!

worth it in the end £16 an hour for decent spark rate plus with your OCD a good spark company will love that unless your house bashing but neat and tidy wireing just sells it to some clients

Brave man...

Having been an electrician for the last 5 -6 years i recently did a similar thing and retrained into IT/Networking.

I really hated house bashing but managed to get into industrial control systems and found that to be much more interesting. You have to learn more to be any good but its much more challenging than wiring up light switches and working on ****ty building sites.
