nova fuel pump live without ignition on????

My fuel pump on my let nova runs with the ignition off. Ive had to out it on s switch to turn it off. I think its wired up right pump to the thin blue/red relay wire?? It seems to be live all the time hence fitting a switch.:confused: Can any one comfirm which is the correct way? Thanks.
