ignition switch help

Finally got round to fitting a new ignition switch, to find id been sent the wrong one, but was thinking while its off i might aswell try and see if it is the problem, does anyone know what id need to bridge to make it think the ignition is fully on (i realise ive effectively just asked you how to hotwire my car :L) but i cant find my haynes anywhere. so if anyone knows, or has a wiring diagram, it would be greatly appreciated, before i have the annoying wait for the right switch and have my hopes smashed when it doesnt cure anything. I NEED MY RADIO BACK haha

the number on the switch is 90052498 if that helps, and its a mk1 1.2

Are you sure your radio is wired right?

If you want a diagram search google for nova rally build manual, click the manual pdf result. youl be able to work it out from the drawing at the back. id rather not explain how to hot wire my own car.

yeah radio was all working fine, then went intermittent, now just thinks the key isnt there

does the blower fan or interior light work?

Interior light yes, blowers not anymore.
also, battery light is on, but the battery voltage is fine :)
