Prepping it always saves you money but then your responsible for the finish as its all in the prep

If you prep it yourself you might as well paint it too. As with most things you get what you pay for...you will get a full spray over for a couple hundred quid but don't expect a show-worthy job

Me and a mate prepped mine as much as we could prior to taking it to the paintshop. I used to work at the firm where it was painted.

I paid £900 cash. That was full shell (doors tailgate bonnet), door and tailgate shuts and engine bay. Plus grill, mirrors etc.

But really the price will change a lot from place to place but the more per-pep you can do the cheaper it will be.

£1500 IMO without your own prep for a good job.

Remember you get what you pay for!

Cheaper the job normally means the crapper he finish.
If you prep it for yours then make sure you get them to check it over before paint.

And you wanna be looking 600-1000 for a good enough job.
